STELARA的好处是停药后不会反弹.每三个月打一针.风险在此药太新,要先等敢吃螃蟹的吃上十年八年才有定论.好在欧美人排着队在踊跃试药.中国人宁可病情恶化关节变形也不敢试药,那么多中国病人对药物试验应该作出贡献,不能总等着吃落地桃子.此药和ENBREL相似的地方是都有肺结核,全身感染,和癌症的风险.

恶性肿瘤，关节变形，两害相全取其轻。

The new drug Stelara (generic: ustekinumab) was approved today by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration for the treatment of moderate to severe psoriasis in adults.

Drug researchers say Stelara may be particularly effective for patients who’ve seen little or no response to other medications—and that when patients were taken off Stelara, psoriasis symptoms were slow to return.

Stelara is administered by injecting it under the skin once every 12 weeks after two initial doses. It works on the immune system by blocking two proteins—interleukin 12 and interleukin 23—thought to play an important role in the development of psoriasis.

"Findings from clinical studies showed that approximately seven out of 10 patients receiving Stelara achieved 75 percent skin clearance after just two doses, and maintained response for one year with continued treatment," according to Dr. Mark Lebwohl, professor and chairman of the Department of Dermatology, Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Lebwohl, who is the chair of the National Psoriasis Foundation Medical Board, was the study’s lead investigator.

"Stelara is a meaningful new option for patients with psoriasis that offers maintenance dosing every 12 weeks following two starter doses," he continued.

谢谢DEMARK. 你在11楼的见解我也有同感,希望病友能根据自己的经济能力，（一般上这种药都很贵）生活品质大胆与医生讨论用STELARA. 以我个人来说，我的p是属於轻微的（mild)。不影响我的生活品质，用不着STELARA.

估计5年内都进不到中国，等吧等吧。。。。

之前依法丽珠已经被FDA枪毙了，可能诱发脑部疾病，国内的那个仿制的健若呋资金也打了水漂。FDA批准了也未必安全，需要观察几年为好。
不过还是看好生物治疗这个市场。
